Working in an office takes a lot. Being on time is a number one must and staying awake goes after it. More often than not, wakefulness is hard to maintain especially when you are expected to work sitting in a cubicle with a pile of paper work and a computer on your face.
The effectivity of the common ways to fight dozy office hours — drinking one to two cups of coffee or glasses of ice water, washing your face with cold water, listening to upbeat music, taking a 10-minute power nap and walking around a bit – vary from person to person. Just choose what best fits you, but I guess getting a good night’s sleep is still on top of it all.

When I was still working, we used to rush our lunch during lunch breaks so we could have a power nap before work resumed. Yes, a good night's sleep will normally solve this kind of problem. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
Hi Niko,
I'm not even sure how many cups of coffee I take everyday.lol I really have a hard time managing my time since I'm a single mom who happens to have a daughter who just loves to distract me in everything I do. So, I usually end up not finishing my work on time. haha But I love her, so most of the time, I end up not having enough sleep which I know is still bad. hehe
