Having enough sleep is vital. Not getting it means dozy work hours, incompetence and a lethargic body. If you are having difficulty getting to sleep at night, try doing these simple steps:
• Watch what you eat and drink. Eating or drinking something that contains caffeine like coffee would keep you awake. Avoid having heavy meals close to bedtime. Also try drinking a glass of milk.
• Exercise during the day and not at night. Doing it at night stimulates your body that makes sleeping hard.
• Do relaxing activities before bedtime like reading, or last minute online shopping using your coupons, having warm bath or listening to mellow music.
• Get to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning. This gives your body a constant routine.
• Use your bed only for intimate activities and sleeping. Avoid reading, eating or watching TV in it.
