Signs to Say I Quit!

There is no specific rule on when to submit the resignation letter. From the time I started to work I only have two signs that I follow on when to ask my superior for a let-me-go. If you have been seeing some exit signs in your current work, you might want to consider my signs…

First, if you aren’t happy with what you do. There’s no way to end it but to talk to your boss for a compromise – if you sense that after the talk you still feel lonely then reflect on your current condition. You can best decide for yourself.

Second, if you seem to be stacked to where you are for years. It’s high time to think about it. Again, talk to your superior for possible promotion or a lateral transfer to another department. If this doesn’t solve what you feel then by all means say… I quit.

But please, no banging of doors. The corporate world is round. The people you meet on your way down are the ones you will be meeting again in your way up. So close the door with a smile.
