I remember the desire to save some coins started when I read about some blogger friends who save money through coin cans. I think it was Kaye the Wahmaholic and Clarissa of Kizuna– those two gorgeous ladies lead the way! And would you know that it spread like wild fire coz right after that Girls Talk theme – husband and I decided to drop coins like crazy. Yena’s empty 1.6kg can of Promil is for the P5 coins, while the smaller can is for the P10 coins.
Husband would usually exchange his bills for P10 or P5 coins! Of course our little girl is excited to do her part, filling up the 2 coin cans nightly. At first she would ask the purpose and we said it would be our pocket money on our January getaway. LOL
Now after less than 2 months – the cans are almost full! Oh, boy it’s a delight to somehow know part of our money goes for savings. ^_^
