We thought we are on a different dimension the moment we step down from the car and see a lot of trees along the highway. I have seen the photos of the man made forest online but I didn’t know that the breeze of air is so much different in that place.
Our tour guide/driver Kuya Rey said that each of the trees at the man made forest was planted by the graduating students of high school on Pres Marcos time. It is a requirement that previous president imposed to the students, they have to plant at least one tree in order to graduate.
And just like the trees that have grown through the years, the students who were once part of the project must have grown tall and proud knowing that once upon a time they did their part not only to graduate but to help the Mother Earth by planting trees.
