Aside from Bohol’s Anthem, there is another song known as “Balik sa Bohol” composed by Filipino blind composer and hymnist One Oclarit. It was created as another patriotic song for Bohol.
If you have been to Bohol, I am sure you are familiar with that song Balik sa Bohol! Balik! This song is sung by the kids at Loboc River Cruise after their mini program and by two men who entertained us with a lot of soothing songs at Tagbilaran Airport. And just like the first time I hear it, I am singing along every time! A big time LSS until we arrive home!
My daughter, who loves to mimic everything I say, sings the song with me but she has different lyrics though…
For her it’s Balik sa Bubong! Balik!
