Except seeing a lot of white sands and green trees on their website, I don’t know what to expect with Whites and Greens Beach Resort. A friend told me that the resort is nice but the word nice can have so many definitions!
The moment we arrived, I know I am home. The resort brings a feel of a province life, a slow paced life I have been looking for. With the restaurant and reception in the center and the cottages all around the area, two open cottages for the guests at beach front, a cradle on green trees and a few walk would lead you to the white sand and clear water of Panglao Beach!
We occupied one of the two newly built cottages and saw how the staffs prepared for our stay. Hurrying to get everything done so we can at least have a rest, they are sweet! And so we learned that they are fully booked that weekend! I am not surprised. The place is worth of every cent you pay.
Our room has a big comfort room, queen size bed and big cabinet – bare but I love it as it is! I didn’t miss television or refrigerator or my cellulaires! I was out of the circulation but spent time in front of my laptop and use the resorts free wi-fi (when the two babies are asleep)!
We were there to bond, swim, tour, talk, eat, play, wrestle with each other and sleep! Life! That’s how you define nice! That’s how we like it and the feel of a home away from home we found – right there and we will surely come back soon!
