Going Seven!

Husband and I are still over the moon. I had my ultrasound last Saturday and follow-up checkup with my OB-gyn yesterday, all laboratory tests are normal and there’s nothing to worry about. Oh, except the nighttime dizziness and back pains.

baby number 2 in my tummy

We finally learned that today, I am six weeks and 5 days pregnant and baby number two has a heartbeat of 130bpm (Yena aka baby number one has 171 bpm on my first ultrasound three years ago, she was eight weeks and 2 days that time) .

I am so proud of how my daughter has accepted the fact that she will soon be a big sister, reminding us every now and then that we have to call her ATE instead of Baby. She isn’t a baby anymore, she said. And yesterday after the checkup she has been talking nonstop of how will our baby look like, will he/she wear pink or borrow her makeups and toys. She worries about all that while I worry about where I should put the baby’s clothes and whatnots when he/she finally arrived. Guess I need to look for another baby cabinet at the nearest cabinet hardware this weekend. I need to look for designs!

I have a lot of stories to tell but find myself napping every time instead of typing my thoughts away. Seldom will you see me online. I guess I will be like this until the year ends. Yay!
