David’s Salon Hair Treatment, Hair Color and Hair Cut Review

Fedhz and I claimed our Ensogo voucher last weekend at David’s Salon. We had hair color, treatment and haircut scheduled at 10am. But since daughter and I came behind the scheduled time, we were asked to go back by 1pm to the Salon. At 1245pm the hairstylist started coloring my hair with the color I chose – Mahogany Copper blonde. After an hour I had the spa treatment and the hair cut followed after a few minutes. Almost 2 hours at David’s Salon, and here’s my new look..

I really look like some blonde girl, much more blonde under the sun and under some led light bulbs! I love the new look somehow. I commend the service of the Salon people, now I know why their Salon is always full-packed with clients!

Busy Bee

Today is my first week anniversary with Sales and so far so good. I am getting used to my new busy routine but every day is a different scenario of meeting new people and doing reports completely different from Finance. I love the sudden change in everything and the team I belong to is so supportive and accommodating.

The weekend went so fast I wasn’t able to take my most needed rest. I had a meet-up with blogging friends last Saturday and spent Sunday with colleagues and old friends from the North. It was a fun-filled week, I am physically present but my mind was with baby number 2 at home. I had to take a leave from work to bring baby number 2 to her Pedia last Monday since her fever has been on and off. So while I juggle the new role I play to the company I have been serving for more than six years, I play mother-wife role at home. It’s energy-draining but fulfilling role all in all and I won’t get tired of it.

10 Years after

Ten years after being with Finance I am finally with Sales! I cannot believe I would say that! It still feels like a dream but since I have been looking forward to this day, I know that it’s one of my best dreams ever. On the first month, I have to learn the art of selling, there’s no problem with that since I think I am inclined to sell – I had a brief history in selling discount dvd movies and my first ever job was with a US food chain!

I had butterflies in my stomach the night before the big day. I can’t stop praying for guidance and that I know the edgy feeling comes from so much excitement. I have been waiting for this for days and now that it’s finally happening I am embracing this change with open arms.

Trying out the Four-minute Workout

When Peh told me about her current workout called Metafit I have to give it a try. She said the workout takes for only 4 minutes and can burn up to 600 calories! While I love Zumba, it only burn 300 calories for a 30 minutes workout and my little one at home seems to be up and about when am ready to start my Zumba routine. I need a quick exercise that gives promising result so I tried my first routine last night!

My body feels sore today! My legs are shaking with that 4-minute workout and I am loving it. I have to beat myself and try if I can do a 3 rounds of that routine in a day, but I doubt that for now. Looks like a finish cleaning a whole play area or huge garden with a lawn gnome with the body sore I am feeling right now. It seems really effective. I can’t wait to lose the extra fats in my tummy in a month!!

I was ready for my lipo-sculpt cavitation session last Friday and was already planning on the schedules of the next sessions. The staff already put some gel on my tummy when she asked me about my CS scars. When she learned that it was only 5 months from my CS operation, she had to postpone the procedure to November this year, when my baby is 1 year old. See how excited I am to lose the extra fats on my tummy.

Now I think I have to stick to my nightly Zumba or try out another routine, the 4 minute work out that promises to burn 600 calories!

Music and Depression

Don’t you know that music can play a big role when you’re feeling blue? Just like chocolates or your favorite comfort food – light music helps boast ones feelings. Happy music makes me high.

So when I play my favorite songs in my laptop, know that I am going through something painful at the moment – it wouldn’t last that long though. I will be back to feeling high after a while. I don’t care whether the songs are instrumental, or if that they are being played on Casio organ or on the radio. One happy song will always lift up my mood in a swift!

Since I am a big fan of Metrodeal and Ensogo lately, i got another good deal at David’s Salon for a Branded Full Hair Color Treatment + Senior Stylist Haircut! Fedhz and I will troop David’s Salon at Robinson’s Pioneer to claim it on the first Saturday of May. Oh boy I am excited. I don’t know what hair color I will be having. If it’s like those gold chains I have yet to know.

Will of course have a review here of that hair makeover.

Dermaesthetique Lipo Sculpt Cavitation

Fedhz and Pehpot bought a discounted Lipo Sculpt Cavitation in Dermaesthetique at Metrodeal last year. And since they are so busy to claim it and it’s nearing its due date this month they gave all their vouchers to me! I have NINE sessions to look forward to. I am so loved. So on Friday I will troop to Dermaesthetique after work. But I don’t know anything about the procedure so I am searching for a review. Guess what? There’s none! Don’t know what to expect. I hope it isn’t painful.

I will be making a review of that lipo-sculpt cavitation in this blog soon. I hope I really can get slimmer with this one!

Eyelashes Extension 101

My eyelashes are longer now, thanks to Style Artica Salon! The procedure was done yesterday and since it is semi permanent eyelash extension it is only expected to last for three weeks to one month. For a usual price of Php800.00 per session, this is affordable enough to those who want to have long eyelashes.

What to expect on the eyelash extension procedure? If possible do not wear mascara before going to the Salon. The staff would only remove it before the procedure that lasts for only 50minutes. Though there’s a slight pain and tickling on the eyes the process is tolerable enough since you would only need to close your eyes from time to time. Meaning you would be idle for more than 45 minutes that you can’t even click on any other sites or browse on facebook while lounging on the Salon’s comfy chair.

Style Artica Salon Review

I had my first ever eyelash extension done at Style Artica Salon. My friend Pehpot hand me over her voucher from Metrodeal and like a lightning I decided to use it yesterday and went to Timog Avenue.

Style Artica Salon is located at Landsdale Arcade, it is beside Ice Berg. The landmark behind the establishment is St Paul Parish Church and a Korean Supermarket in front. If you would ride a jeepney, tell the driver to drop you off at St Paul Parish Church, it’s a few steps away from the Salon. It is a bit difficult to locate the place for me since it was my first time to step foot at Timog Ave but the receptionist fetch me in front of their Salon, waving at the taxi car I was riding.

The salon is dainty and the staffs are all accommodating and friendly. I even noticed a cute little dog inside the salon with his owner being treated for a haircut. It’s a long travel for me to get to that salon but the effort was worth it if the salon doesn’t have a website yet I can even create one for them and consult the website creator pronto. I went home smiling because of my new semi permanent long eyelashes and the satisfaction I got from Ms Lea, the staff who made my wish come true of having longer eyelashes that looks so natural.
